Change is rarely something with a neat beginning and end. Engaging an embedded team coach supports you during transition and keeps you moving forward. It also allows for a deep focus on change leadership, without the distractions of daily management priorities.
I work with organisations and teams to build:
In-house Change Leadership
Team Facilitation
Building Resilience and Wellbeing
HR/People Strategy
Executive Coaching and Mentoring
LEADERSHIP COACHING
As your embedded coach, we begin by establishing a schedule that will support your goals. We then use this to create a bespoke model for you, which may include a combination of:
Individual one to one coaching
Group or team coaching
Leadership Masterclasses
Strategy advice
FACILITATION
When investing time and money bringing your leadership team together for planning and/or strategy development, you want to make sure you get the outcomes you need. An external facilitator ensures you have someone focused on your workshop goals, managing participation and driving high engagement.
I can work with you to develop your workshop content and planning, or join you to deliver an internally developed program.
BUILDING RESILIENCE AND WELLBEING
It feels like everybody (including me!) is talking about the importance of being resilient and investing in wellbeing. Experience tells me that organisations know they need to do things differently, however, putting this into motion is often overshadowed by competing priorities. Often, for leaders, this can comes at the cost of their own wellbeing or health, and often, it feels like it creeps up without warning!
But there are warning, and there are signs. There are ways to keep yourself, your team and your organisation agile, strong and well. The answers don’t have to be sophisticated, expensive program, but they do need to be genuine.
I work with teams to develop a tailored, practical approach to building a culture and operating rhythm that drives organisational resilience and a commitment to employee wellbeing.
Executive coaching and mentoring
Much like my approach to individual coaching, I also work 1:1 with individuals, or with teams in a group coaching environment. Through a collaborative coaching framework we will tackle:
Knowing your worth
Building confidence and resilience
Juggling it all / work life blend
Influence and Communication
Knowing your strengths and understanding your ‘weaknesses’
Career coaching
Driving cultural change
working together
Your People Partner
The embedded team coaching model gives you the flexibility to have ongoing focus and investment in growing your team through a combination of coaching for individuals, team or peer coaching groups and a rolling program of masterclasses to progress your change leadership capabilities and capacity.
I typically work as an embedded team coach with organisations for engagements of between 6 and 12 months. This includes one day per month on-site, with up to six 1:1 coaching sessions with individual team members, or a combination of 1:1 sessions and team coaching or peer coaching sessions.
For virtual teams, this can be accommodated via videoconference or other in-house technology, if required.
Case study
I recently worked with the management team of a medium sized company who were highly committed to success, yet were confused about their future direction.
During this engagement, I worked with each member of the management team in 1:1 coaching sessions, as well as providing strategic people and HR-related support. This included the design and implementation of an organisational restructure, strategic advice and support for complex people management issues, as well as support and endorsement of a new business planning process.
The embedded coaching model provided the the team with an opportunity to focus, and together we were able to build a commitment to a culture of leadership, accountability and high performance. At the end of the engagement they had built and embedded consistency, accountability, alignment and, most of all, confidence as we worked through these significant changes together.
I now continue to work closely with the organisation as a strategic partner.
